The Bucharest AI Challenge brought together graduate students from computer science and AI programs to tackle a real engineering problem: can an AI agent manage a full software development lifecycle?

Teams were given a backlog of tasks, a codebase, and access to AI tools. The challenge: ship as many features as possible in 24 hours, with AI doing the heavy lifting.

This competition is part of our ongoing university program to identify and fund the next generation of AI builders.
